What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up

This week it's a fashion designer
RooBear and Daddy decided that the clothes I picked out for school yesterday just weren't flashy enough.  Look how proud these two are of the outfit they put together.  Love this little family :)

MayMay The Wonder Pup

My husband and I adopted Ellie May before we were married and they thought she was about a year old then so that makes her around 10 years old now.  Before the girls were born her only job was to hang out with me.  She was just used to sitting at my feet and licking the sweat off of my sweet tea glass.

Then these 2 girls were born...  Her life hasn't been the same since.

MayMay feels like it's her responsibility to keep the kids in line.  She gets super nervous when they start to wander away from me or go somewhere I've told them not to go.  So, even though MayMay has been ours for 9 years, the only command she knows is "Watch Your Babies."  This usually means she rounds them up like cattle but on rare occasions (okay, maybe not so rare) she has to go and get them by the hand and drag them back to where they're supposed to be.  She's very gentle but the girls get aggravated with having another mother around.  Love my MayMay and love that she thinks of my babies as her own.

School is IN!!

My big girl is going to PreK.  I can't believe how fast these days are flying by.  She's been a big girl and her teachers and I are so proud of her.  On the third day all 3 of us girls had a major breakdown.  RooBear was sure she didn't want to stay, I was crying because I didn't want to make her stay and JuicyJuice because she had to be dragged out.  Daddy was thought this story was the funniest thing he's ever heard but I've noticed how he's managed to weasel out of taking her until she's gotten used to going.  He's not nearly as tough as he looks and I know if he saw just one tear then he would be ready to bring her straight home... Pushover.  She's adjusted well and she loves her new school and her new teachers.

I'm so proud.

And then there's JuicyJuice...  Walks around like she owns the place and already knows everyone's name.  This girl is a mess.  She's just started her second year with her 2 mornings a week at Play School.  She's having the best time at school.  Loves her teacher and doesn't call her "Ms. Paula", she calls her "My Paula".  This girl takes after her mother and never meets a stranger.  She hasn't shed a tear yet and asks to go back to school every day.  She keeps me on my toes.

Almost The End Of Summer...

It's all coming to an end but here are some of the highlights of our summer.
Hope y'all had as wonderful a time as we did.

RooBear's first dance recital.

Here's a few from our trip to the mountains.  Loved that weekend- we all needed a little break.

Fun at the pool.  The girls love to swim (and so does my cousin Av).

4th of July!

At home on the porch pool :)

 My babies are growing up!
